Reflections

Shot on 30 December, 2010 at Gosford marina on the NSW Central Coast. The sky was all but dark when I shot this sunset photo. An extended shutter speed allowed me to capture some of the remaining ambient colour bouncing around in the stratosphere as well as capture the reflections and shadows on the lake.

The air that night was cooler than I had expected after a very warm day, and the mosquitoes were having a feast on my ankles and arms. The results were more than worth the itchy bites though. I’m quite happy with the resulting photo.
